Welcome to the EQT Foundation’s Grant Application, Matching Contributions, and Scholarship site. The EQT Foundation helps communities prosper through focused giving.

The EQT Foundation’s granting strategy endorses programs that directly touch the community and its residents, rather than fundraising initiatives designed to support general operating expenses. The Foundation supports projects that demonstrate positive, significant, measurable and sustainable impacts. The preference is for proposals grounded in solid research and analysis that demonstrate creative approaches to addressing critical issues. The Foundation also seeks evidence of:

• Geographic setting that aligns with EQT Corporation’s business locations;
• The ability to manage available resources effectively; and
• The ability to gain solid public recognition and support for themselves, their program and their sponsors.

The Foundation funds programs in the following priority areas:

• Community Enrichment
• Education & Workforce
• Environment

EQT’s Matching Contribution Program matches gifts made by EQT employees and directors to qualifying US nonprofits, dollar-for-dollar, from a minimum of $100 to $25,000 per employee or $10,000 per EQT board member, per year.

EQT’s scholarships are awarded to students in our operating areas through existing programs.
